  1. Verify that the dishwasher is on and has power provided to it. 
    1. If the dishwasher will not power on, the customer’s facilities team will need to address the issue as we do not support issues with the dishwasher itself. 
  2. Check GEM programming for the controller and verify that the ModBus 2 programming is set appropriately in the configuration module.
  3. Remove the wires from Modbus 2 coming from the dishwasher and test them with a multimeter. 
    1. If the reading is 2-3V DC, then the dishwasher provides the proper reading. Replace the wires on ModBus 2. 
      1. Turn the dishwasher back on and check GEM to see if any data is being read by the device. If not 
    2. If there is no reading, check the continuity of the wiring to the dishwasher. 
      1. If there is continuity to the dishwasher, direct the customer to their facilities team to address an issue with their dishwasher. 
      2. If there is no continuity to the dishwasher, the wire will need to be replaced.
