This article will guide you through the process of completing a Temporary Override in GridPoint Intelligence.

Temporary Override
- From the site’s page, go to the Settings Library.
- Scroll down to Exceptions and use the clock with the plus to start a new exception.
- Name the exception and select the open date and close date. This does take two separate clicks to continue to Set Dates.
- You will then need to add Primary and Secondary schedules for the exception.
- To delete the exception, you would use the Clock with the plus to open your drop down.
- You will now need to apply the exception to the assets. Go to Assets.
- Use the drop down next to the site to show the assets.
- Check off the assets that you would like to apply the exception.
- Scroll to the top and click Add Exception to open the drop down showing the available exceptions to apply to the assets.
Note: The last override made will be the one implemented. For example, if an override is made in GridPoint Intelligence at noon, and then a local override is made at the thermostat at 2pm the same day, the local override will take precedence.
