Thermostats - TS101 - Cooling Issues

This article will guide you through troubleshooting cooling issues with a TS101 thermostat.

Cooling Issues

  1. Locate the TS101 thermostat.

 

  1. Check that the power LED is illuminated.
    1. If there is a power LED, there is no power issue. Contact GridPoint Support if you are still experiencing issues with the thermostat.
  2. Is there physical damage?
    1. If yes, contact GridPoint Support for more details.
  1. Check the thermostat’s mode and verify it is in either “cool” or “auto”.
    1. To check at the thermostat physically, check to see if the “cool” LED is illuminated
    2. To check within GEM, you can go to RTD to check current status.
  2. Check Cool Set Point.
    1. The cool setting will only run if the cool set point is lower than the zone temperature.
    2. If you are still experiencing issues, contact GridPoint Support for more details.
