  1. Locate controller.
  1. Perform a soft reset.
    1. With a paperclip or something of a similar diameter, press and hold the reset button located to the immediate left of the ethernet cable on the underside of the controller.
    2. Confirm If not connected, continue to the next step.
  1. Perform a hard reset.
    1. Check ethernet cable connection at controller.
      1. Ethernet cable connects on right side of controller, along the (Image 1.2)
      2. Inspect ethernet cable for damage.
    2. Unplug ethernet cable.
    3. Unplug power cable and wait 5 minutes.
    4. Plug power cable back in and wait 5 minutes.
    5. Plug ethernet cable back in.
    6. Confirm connectivity. If not connected, continue to next step.

  1. Touch one area on the screen and hold on a blank area for (approximately 20-30 seconds) until screen calibration menu appears.
    1. If they have a pen top or stylus, it will work better than using a If not, a finger works.
  2. Calibrate touchscreen.
    1. Following the on-screen instructions, touch the crosshairs on the screen with a pen top or stylus. (Image 1.3)
  3. Test to confirm calibration succeeded.
    1. If EC2000 continues to have issues with screen responsiveness, contact GridPoint Support for more details.
