Assets Overview

• Assets provides insight into all equipment at all company sites.
• Assets can be filtered by type.
  • HVAC Assets
  • Lighting Assets

• The Assets page will display the total number of assets across all sites.
• Each site will display the number of assets located at that site.
• The Assets page will allow appropriate users to make bulk changes across any number of assets.
• You can search for sites and assets using the search bar.

Navigating to Assets

• Navigate to the Assets page by clicking the Assets icon (circle with three wavy lines inside) on the lefthand sidebar.
• Select the site or sites you would like to see assets for by using the search bar.

Making Changes to Assets

Making Changes to a Single Asset

• Select the site with an asset you wish to update, override, or change.
• Click the drop-down arrow to show the list of assets at that site.
• Click the ellipsis (three dots) next to the asset you wish to update, override, or change.

Controllers

• Controllers will provide you with the following options when you click the ellipsis next to the asset.
  • Connectivity: displays connectivity data.
  • Information: displays basic overview of the controller.

Thermostats

• Thermostats will provide you with the following options when you click the ellipsis next to the asset.
  • Connectivity: displays connectivity data.
  • Information: displays basic overview of the thermostat.
  • Set Override: override settings on the thermostat.
  • HVAC Tests: run heating or cooling tests on the HVAC unit the thermostat controls.
  • Asset Settings: change or update the thermostat settings.
  • Edit Name: change the name of the thermostat unit.
  • Optimal Start: allows your HVAC to start early based on your schedule and comfort settings to allow maximum efficiency.

Lighting

• Lighting will provide you with the following options when you click the ellipsis next to the asset.
  • Connectivity: displays connectivity data.
  • Information: displays basic overview of the lighting section/area.
  • Turn On: this overrides the lights to an On position regardless of the schedule.
  • Lighting Settings: change or update settings for that lighting section/area.
  • Edit Name: change the name of the lighting section/area.

Metering

• Metering will provide you with the following options when you click the ellipsis next to the asset.
  • Connectivity: displays connectivity data.
  • Information: displays basic overview of the meter.
  • Edit Name: change the name of the meter.

Applying Bulk Actions to Sites

• Use the Filter Assets dropdown to select the asset type to apply bulk actions. You can only apply bulk actions to the same type of asset (i.e. all HVAC assets or all lighting assets, not both). The options for asset filters are:
  • HVAC
  • Lighting

Example - HVAC Bulk Action

• For this example, the admin user selects Show HVAC Assets from the Filter Assets dropdown.
• All the HVAC units at a single site have been selected by clicking the check-box next to the site.
  • If the user only wanted some of the assets at a site or sites, they could select whichever check-boxes they desired.
  • Multiple site assets can be selected at once.
  • To select all the assets of a given type across all sites, click the check-box next to the Apply Bulk Action button.

• Once the desired assets have been selected, click the Apply Bulk Edit button.

• Select the bulk action to perform.

The above steps can be applied to Lighting assets.
