Settings Library Overview
The Settings Library provides visibility into HVAC and Lighting configurations across your sites. These settings can be saved and applied to your Spaces.
Note: “Any modification made to a schedule or setting affects every Space, and every HVAC zone in those Spaces, that the schedule or setting is applied to.”

Navigating to Settings Library
Select the cog icon in the left sidebar.
Viewing, Updating, and Creating HVAC Settings
Click the HVAC tab to view configurations. Select any setting by clicking the dropdown arrow next to its name.
Adjustable Comfort Settings:
- Primary mode: generally used as an “Occupied” or “Site Hours” mode
- Secondary mode: generally used as a “Minimally Occupied” mode
- Closed mode: generally used as a “Closed” mode.
Options within each Comfort Setting:
- Heat Setpoint
- Cool Setpoint
- HVAC Mode (Auto, Heat, Cool, Off)
- Fan Mode (Auto, On)
Create new settings using the blue thermometer icon. Edit or delete using the ellipsis menu.

Applying Comfort Settings to a Space
Open a Space’s Settings (the gear icon on the Space row, or the Space’s three-dot menu, then Settings), and select an option from the Comfort Settings dropdown. It applies to every HVAC zone in the Space.
Applying Comfort Settings to Multiple Spaces
- Go to the Assets page.
- Use the Filter Assets dropdown and select Show Spaces.
- Check the Spaces you want to update.
- Click Apply Bulk Actions.
- Select Apply Comfort Setting.
- Choose the setting and click Save.

Viewing, Updating, and Creating Lighting Settings
Click the Lighting tab. Adjust schedules by dragging the open and close knobs for each day.
- Yellow bar = On times
- Gray bar = Off times
Use the trash icon to delete schedules or the clock icon to add additional On periods.

Adding Exceptions
Schedule exceptions accommodate special events like holidays. You create them here, in the Settings Library, and apply them to your Spaces (see Systems - GridPoint Intelligence - Schedule Exceptions).
Click the blue clock icon with the plus sign to create an exception.
HVAC Exceptions
Exceptions allow alternative schedules for single or consecutive days. Add Primary and Secondary schedules for each day, then click Set Dates. Manage via the ellipsis menu.

Lighting Exceptions
Similar to HVAC, lighting exceptions support alternative On schedules for specified date ranges, with multiple schedules per day if needed.
